A remake of Ilayathalapathy Vijay starrer Tamil film titled, "Thuppakki" released in 2012, "Holiday" was released in over 3,500 screens in India and 400 screens overseas. It is about an army officer, who single-handedly took on terrorists and dismantles their blast plots. He not only defeats the terrorists but also corrupt Indian Army officials in this action thriller.
The film makes the return of Khiladi Kumar in action role after a while. The good collection of "Holiday" will come as a big relief, as his last two releases bombed at the box office. ;)
